Brazos River Hideout

Beautiful river beach!! Peaceful now during off season. The river doesn’t flow fast apparently so they have kayaks and tubes to cruise around in. Level pads, nice place outside of town. We’ll be back for the airboat thanks James!!

We had the most amazing weekend at the Brazos River hideout. This place is truly a peaceful escape from the busy world. The views were absolutely beautiful—wide open land, big trees, and the quiet sound of nature all around. It’s the kind of place where you can just breathe and relax. One of the highlights was fishing along the river. Sitting by the water with a line in, watching the current roll by, was the perfect way to unwind. Whether you’re serious about fishing or just want to enjoy the moment, the setting makes it special. The outdoor setup was great too—plenty of space to cook out, sit around, and spend time with family and friends. Almost hate to share this beautiful hidden gem! Where do I start? Amazing river frontage with a nice sandy beach area. Kids will love playing in the sand and collecting shells. They offer tent and RV sites, a large Lodge that offers amazing views during both sunrise and sunset. We saw so many deer and turkey! Ryan, the camp manager was beyond helpful and accommodating. This wasn’t our first trip, but definitely the most memorable! We are already planning our next group trip with a fish fry! So thankful James has created this amazing spot!

Had a great stay and the main lodge was super nice. Outdoor TV, kitchen, smoker, and area to sit and hang out with friends. Did an airboat ride which was a blast. I highly recommend the place.

What a great place to spend time with friends and family. The outdoor area accommodates plenty. The huge smoker is an amazing amenity. The ease of checking in and checking out was so easy. Can’t wait to come back and try the campgrounds.
