The Breakers Resort in Dennis Port, MA was a wonderful place to stay and truly added to the charm of our Cape Cod trip. We stayed in a 1‑bedroom unit with the bedroom on the top floor, and it was nice, spacious, and very comfortable. The highlight was the beautiful ocean view from the top floor, which made mornings and evenings especially relaxing. The unit itself was well equipped for a short stay. While it did not have a stove, it did include a microwave and fridge, which made it easy to store snacks and prepare simple meals. The jacuzzi was a great bonus and added a touch of luxury to the room. The shower was excellent as well, with both the water temperature and pressure being exactly what you would hope for after a day out exploring. The resort staff were friendly and welcoming, whi

Ok, this is an older property, that has had updates, however it is subpar to any Bluegreen properties we have ever stayed at. |1st assigned room had portable AC units in windows with duct tape and foil used to seal windows. It looked like most rooms in this building had the same issues, so building central AC isn't working. |2nd room at least had working central AC, but allot of furnishings looked like they were obtained from yard sales or closed boarding school. One of the nightstands had 3 drawers, each marked with a 1,2,3 on each drawer?. Nothing matched up. Yes, gave a rustic feel, but just not a normal Bluegreen resort value or feel. Other oceanfront, or beach resorts have matching furniture that gives off beach resort feel, and match.|Then, the benefit of a 2nd bathroom was lost, wat

This property was well maintained and comfortable. It still shows signs of age like the long hallways to our room. Access and parking were a little tricky but we went in the off season so there were only a handful of others there. We appreciated the free laundry, there was only one machine of each but once again during off season it was zero problem. Access to the beach was close and great, the view from our room was amazing, other rooms maybe not so nice. Front desk people were great to work with and the texting feature was perfect!

We were impressed by the cleanliness and condition of our room and bath area. Being in the 7 building, we were just across the street from the main building and a short walk to the beach and additional property amenities. We enjoyed time around the fire pit at night, too. Linens were refreshed as requested, and the room was well stocked with dishes, glasses, and utensils.

Maintenance going downhill. Faulty old air conditioners, reverting to portable units. Pool safety issues with missing unstable ladders. Full of sand improper cleaning, lack of umbrellas and tables, cracks in the pool surface and bolts sticking up from missing ladder. Weeds growing around perimeter and discarded items tossed in corner. Parking allows only 1 car per unit and very tight parking. Views are great along with beach but property upgrades are lacking and it appears all the resources go to the sister resort next door at the Soundings. Staff is friendly. Most of the fireplaces in the unit inoperative and even though they have smoke alarms there are no sprinklers in the units. Lack of proper maintenance is the biggest issue. Broken picnic tables, inoperative washer and dryers.
