We had a pop-up camper van so we were parked in the tent loop. Carrie, Larry and Heather were very helpful with suggesting a more shaded site when we first called to make reservation, and their customer service and friendliness was superb with changes we made. Bathrooms and showers (all with doors) were very clean. No other camping bathrooms were as clean. While the location was a bit noisy with being close to the main road; you can't beat the location for getting immediately right on the Mickelson Trail. The office is seconds from the Mick. My husband, and I had our own bikes, others rented e-bikes. The office sold the required pass to be on the Mick. We will return to this location for our future Mick rides!

We have stayed there now, 2 summers in a row and plan a return in following years. Our first visit was booked into a cabin, a great setup for a couple wanting a campground experience yet having a cozy bed to fall back into at the end of the day. Cooking is done on an outside grill, and camp fires just off your porch always end the day. The internet is available with great connectivity for any needs to stay in touch with the real world Our second visit included one of our siblings family as well so we booked the suite- wow, a full size kitchen, dinning area, living area with lots of room in the two bedrooms. A real "top notch hotel" experience at a camp ground in a wonderful part of the world. Of course the campground help remembered us from the first visit, and were there for our every

We rented the 2BR apartment above the office. It is roomy with a nice living area, kitchen and cozy beds. The owners were kind and hospitable. We enjoyed the convenience of renting their new ebikes to ride The Mickelson bike trail. They gave us extra ebike batteries so we could ride more, morning and evening. It is centrally located to go in each direction. First day, we biked to the Custer area for a delicious lunch at the Purple Pie Place. Second day, we biked to Rochford area. Towards Rochford is the most beautiful part of the trail in this direction traveling through forests, tunnels, by the stream with a few beautiful waterfalls. Custer area is our favorite town for restaurants, highly recommend Sage Creek Grille and Hjem AM for breakfast as well. Thank you for a great stay!

We had spot 29 which was an upgrade. It didn't seem like upgrade to me, seemed like the all the others. We had to back in with a 35ft 5th wheel toy haul. If someone has the spot in front of the registration office, it can be difficult. The park is pretty serious about dogs on leashes, I wish they had a dog park. We probably wont go back because of the dog space. Our friends stayed in a cabin, which looked very nice. We did enjoy a cocktail on the covered desk of the cabin.

One of our favorite campgrounds. Always clean and well maintained. Staff is really nice. Love the large showers in in bath house with private rooms. And I feel like there is always enough hot water. Friends stayed in a cabin. It was nice too. The only issue they had was running out of hot water after 10 min in the shower. We were in our camper. Great place to visit. And the prices are great. We come up and stay here every summer. 4 years now.
