Big Meadow Family Campground

What a wonderful and peaceful stay at Big Meadows. The bath house and laundry facilities were excellent. The staff members were extremely friendly and they treat you as a friend not a customer. The location was very good with an easy drive to the surrounding area. The only negative was the low powered WiFi but that is not a big enough issue to demote their star rating. Thank you Big Meadows and we will see you again real soon.

Location! Location! Location! The peaceful side of the Smokies is where it's at. The park is two miles from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It's so much easier to get into the park this way vs. waiting in LONG traffic lines from Sevierville / Gatlinburg. Big Meadow is our "go to" park whenever we are in the area... which is twice annually. It's a well-run park with friendly staff. The roads are easy to navigate, and I appreciate the concrete pads. Bathrooms are very clean.

We had an RV reunion here for 5 days in September. The folks here were fantastic and so accommodating. The nearby mountains were just beginning their color changes. There are so many nearby things to do and see, and lots of great food nearby. We definitely will be back!

Big Meadow Campground is a beautiful place to stay. It's peaceful, and in a great location. It is family owned and ran. They were so helpful with anything we needed. Great playground for the kids all year. They have a splash pad for the summer. The bathrooms where the cleanest I have seen.

After being out of camping for over 20 years, we made this place our first trip with the new camper. We totally enjoyed the park and the staff. They were great to work with and truly made our visit a great one. We have already booked for next year. Great location, great staff, and overall great experience. I would highly recommend this park to anyone.
