Riverstone Lodge

Well managed motel, the rooms were spacious and clean, love the evening fire pit action… Pool was great, access to the park from here is exceptional. Will return for more of that vintage, authentic, mountain vacation, vibe! I posted a photo at the road entrance to Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountain State Park that I was able to take before returning to Riverstone Lodge. That was about a 20-minute car ride away (taken in October 2025) Excellent.

Our family has stayed at riverstone lodge many times over the years and we have always had an excellent experience all around. Location is wonderful, and the rooms were very nice and clean—especially for the price! We were in town for the Cades Cove Loop Lope. Saturday evening we asked in the front office about whether a late check out was possible or not—the girl was very nice and said there were no check ins after us, so she didn’t think it would be a problem to push it to noon but that she was going to check with Pam the owner to make sure. We got a voicemail late that night that a late check out at noon wasn’t available but that we could get a few minutes past 11 if needed (Pam, I have the voicemail if you’d like proof). Been staying here for years. This trip was the most relaxing one ever. Room was perfect, beds so comfy, rockers were perfect. Time by the fire with friends was amazing. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. It is our home away from home. Belinda, Terry, Pam and Sandy treat us like family. ❤️❤️❤️

This was the perfect place. Close to Cades Cove, quiet, friendly staff, convenient restaurant with good food! The only issue we had was not enough receptacles in the room. Of course that was easily overcome! We will definitely be back!

Had some issues finding a TRUE pet friendly place after booking a hotel somewhere else and finding out that despite being pet friendly, they had restrictions. Stopped in here on a whim as a last resort and Pam (I believe was her name) was super friendly and helpful. She was able to get us into a hotel for the night with our pups and give us some local insight on some cool spots to see some wildlife. The hotel room was clean and cute, and I do like that they do a hotel-wide campfire for anyone and everyone that wants to join. Truly love the vibe of this place compared to some of the other hotels and "pet friendly" hotels that denied us for having a large service dog due to a "weight limit" despite him being a mobility dog.
