Smoky Waters Campground

We spent a week here and loved it! Best campground for us in Townsend! Sites are long and can accommodate any size rig. Very quiet, right along the river... and well maintained! The owners are very helpful and nice people. We enjoyed are stay while we were there! We would highly recommend staying here!

Absolutely the best campground in Townsend TN! Spacious sites, river access, quiet, and the best hosts around. Our grandchildren wore us out running back and forth to the river. We went kayaking, tubing, fishing, and swimming in the Little River and didn't have to leave the campground. A great place for families with children. We really enjoyed our stay and have already booked a site for next year!

Great Campground... Huge sites, full service. We loved our stay on the quiet side of the smokies. Owners /hosts were quick to respond with questions and courteous. Definitely would stay here again when we come back to the area.

We are currently retired and enjoy spending time in state parks across the country and try not to book sites in privately owned parks (they all seem like parking lots). Smoky Waters is different. Plenty of room, friendly people, quiet. My wife and I spent a week there and I can't count the times we both said how safe we feel. We will be back.

We stayed at a beautiful campground owned and operated by the lovely Sheila, who welcomed us with a broad smile and was eager to assist. We camped near the creek, offering plenty of space and privacy. I wish we could have spent more time there
