Customer Reviews
Comfortable beds. I actually got a good nights sleep. Clean. Nice gym, sauna and jacuzzi. Cheap rates. Decent breakfast. Parking lot gets full at night. Plenty of food options in walking distance. Our room didn't have a good view but didn't mind since everything else was great.
Hi fellow TA, Spent one night here at the Best Western Pony Soldier Inn. Best Western general are a good quality hotel to stay in. Clean room with all the needs Micro coffee maker , refrigerate. Large TV. I also find a better then average free Breakfast ! free parking . This Best Western was that an didn't disappoint.. We were coming from Washington an if your using Portland International HWY 205 is the key to the airport. Coming south on HWY 205 from Washington NE SANDY Blvd is the next exit past exit to airport . Just on the other side of 205 going North on ramp is Best western Pony Soldier Inn. Suggestion !!! When you book direct ask for a room away from the 205 freeway on ramp. Hotel is shape like a box pool in middle. That one wall freeway side might be a problem for light slee
Positive: It was a best western Negative: Some of the staff were not very friendly and I got charged a pet cleaning deposit when I know my dog did not pee on floor it was her potty pads that were in garbage
How was my stay?..... short answer: STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! Long answer: I checked into the hotel at 3AM after driving all night, completely exhausted. Before I even fell asleep, I had to call the front desk because someone kept slamming the exterior door right beside my room. They claimed they didn’t know who it was and couldn’t lock the door, so I just tried to sleep through it. At 9AM, I was jolted awake by management pounding violently on my door. Not knocking—pounding. When I told them I needed another night and to just charge my card again, the manager actually blocked the door from closing and shoved it back open. He then accused us of being the ones causing all the noise all night—when we had literally been asleep the entire time and I had even called to complain about it. He
Rooms are fairly clean, they definitely don't smell, I only one negative encounter with the evening shift personnel. I Door dashed some food over and wanted to eat in the dining area they have in the lobby so I turned on the lights when a house keeper says annoyed " ugh who turned on the lights" then proceeded to TELL me to turn the lights off afterward. I didn't realize they expect their paying visitors to eat in the dark. Would have been 4 stars if it wasn't in such a bad area. However it's super close to the Airport and they provide shuttle services. Anyway 3 stars is it.
