Best Western Plus Austin Airport Inn & Suites

I expected a better experience from a Best Western Plus hotel. Don't get there early for check-in, or you'll be expected to pay a $25 early check-in charge even if you're a Best Western Diamond member. Don't ask for an extra room key, as you'll likely be told they don't have enough keys to provide an extra. Don't expect a very good breakfast, one morning of my stay the sausage was barely edible. The hotel was noisy both inside and out. I could hear the person in the room next door talking & snoring, I was woken by them one morning around 5am. And the hot water was lukewarm at best for the entire stay. I like the location, both for the proximity of my business there, as well as the airport. However, I'll look for other choices when I'm in Austin next.

Location close to the airport by car so convenient after a long flight. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Thanks Thomas. Room spacious for 3 people. Room needs updating. Didn’t like to see some grey sticky tape fixing the corner on the desk top. AC extremely noisy. Had to switch it off so room became hot. Breakfast adequate for us as we don’t eat hot food in the morning. We enjoyed making some waffles. Free parking in the hotel.

Positive: location near my conference location. also, the hotel is locate in a place with a diverse and multicultural food mix Negative: They have a cockroach problem. And management knows this, yet do not seem to care about the complaints

Terrible customer service. I booked a trip in early September and contacted them the next day to cancel. They have told me a dozen times that the manager was reviewing my request and would contact me. It has been over a month and at least 10 calls to them with the same "we are reviewing and will call you back later today". They have never called me back. When you call and ask to speak to the front desk you get a call center in another country.

My family of four stayed one night. We made our reservation online the evening before and checked in the next night. Check-in was smooth; the staff were already expecting our arrival and had our suite ready with key cards prepared. The entire process took no more than five minutes. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The hotel appeared to have been recently updated with new carpet, paint, and other improvements. We slept well and woke up to enjoy the complimentary breakfast around 6:18 a.m. Everything was hot and ready it smelled great, looked delicious, and tasted good. Check-out was simple, with a convenient drop box at the front desk for our key cards. We were out around 9:15 a.m. Overall, the hotel met our expectations and offered a great price.
