Best Western Harvest Inn & Suites

A very good experience. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was very clean and fresh. The freshness and dryness of the room pleasant surprise as we got a poolside room, so I was expecting it to be at least a little mildewey/ musty. Pool/hot tub area was good too. I liked the exercise room. I didn't use them, but noticed that a washer and dryer were available too.

We were traveling to Grand Forks to visit the College for their Fall open House with my daughter and her good friend and cuz it was an early event we spent the night here the day before. Is a nice location, close to gas stations and restaurants, hotel was pretty quiet for being in a town location and beds were very comfortable, amenities were good. Hot water was good. Room was clean and location felt very safe. Reason giving it 4 stars is room smelled a little musty like a room spray or something when coming into it. There wasn't a whole lot of outlets for phone charging etc if you have several people in the room. And room also was very warm temperature wise and took awhile to cool down after turning the temp down. But other than that was a nice place and we all enjoyed our time there and

Honest review. We first arrived to our room that we booked on a 3rd party app. 1st observation was towel was stained with yellow looking substance. 2nd observation was the temperature in the room would not heat, cranked the thermostat to 84 and left to shop for 3 hours. Once arriving the room was still 55 degrees. Room 234. I brought this to the front desk attention and he gave us a replacement room (233). He wanted us to pack everything up and bring back to the desk to get new room keys. Very inconvenient, I suggested he book us out of 234, give us room keys for 233 and come with us to retrieve our items to shift to the room right next to it. That worked. Positive: Check in was easy. Negative: Queen suite. The room was hot and muggy. The temp control was in the sitting area and couldn?t compensate for the bedroom portion. The night auditor was the only staff to answer the phone to ask about temp control.

I stayed here many times - they offer a great surgery discount. I think I stayed here over 20 times. On top of that the electric car chargers were complimentary, and very good while I had an electric vehicle. The pool is ok. The rooms are passable, they always got me extra pillows on request, and the bathrooms were always clean. Service was always very good. Could walk across the street for goods at the convenience store too. Very fast to get off the highway and find.
