Best Western Gastonia

Some people have left some bad reviews of this place. But from my personal experience. This hotel is absolutely wonderful. All the staff is absolutely amazing and so helpful. They do a great job keeping the place clean and are so kind and considerate to the guests. The breakfast is pretty great I was shocked because most hotel breakfasts aren't that good. The rooms are so organized and spotless and house keeping does really great. The hotel is right next to a few restaurants and at a safe location near alot of places so that's also a huge bonus. This hotel is absolutely wonderful in my opinion and couldn't have asked for a better experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a wonderful stay at Best Western. Everything about the room was great — clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. The staff were incredibly nice, welcoming, and always available whenever I needed anything. It was also a very quiet stay, so I wasn’t interrupted by random noise, which made it even more relaxing. From check-in to check-out, the experience was smooth and pleasant. I truly felt taken care of during my stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and great customer service. I will definitely be staying here again!

Ok is about the best I can say for this property. The room was clearly a smoking room at some point and smelled of smoke and was musty. The breakfast was a disaster no eggs, two sausages and the employees were hogging the waffle Iron. Why would employees be using the breakfast bar during peak time or anytime that guests are present? On the positive side the front desk people were very pleasant and the room was clean. Be careful of this hotel as they try and pull a fast one and ask for a $100 surprise deposit. This was not written anywhere on the corporate website and seems very suspicious

Positive: Everything went well. Smooth in and out. Breakfast was as expected. Easy parking. Easy all around. Comfortable bed. Everything was operable. Negative: The night receptionist was grumpy. Customer service is not her calling. She declined my request for 1 hour later check out due to flight schedule, but I was later told it would be fine. She barely spoke to me & acted annoyed. Also, the smoky odor.

We had a wedding in Dallas, NC so needed a place for one night, and picked this. We were very pleasantly surprised! (Initally chose an airbnb, but the price was comparable, while BW offered early check-in, breakfast and a better location). We ended up taking an early check-in so that we could get ready in time, which was offered at a nominal rate. I would stay here again if I am back in the area. Room : clean, no frills, good A/C and lights. No issues with cleanliness. Nice bathroom. Food : Good breakfast selection, but also Cracker Barrel and Waffle House are literally 20 steps away. Location: 20 mins to the airport, 20 mins to the wedding in Dallas, and literally off the highway. Such a good location! Looks like this was family run - well kept and perfect for a short stay.
