For the price and location you can't beat it,just minutes away from ...... basically anywhere in San Marcos,super close to Texas State University,if you're a Bobcats fan or an opposing team fan here to watch a game but far from home and on a budget,this would be the place for you,the manager is friendly and easy to talk to. You got daily or extended stay options with reasonable rates.

Unfortunately,a few friends and I were forced to stay at this god awful hotel because it was during spring break and everything else was booked solid. At first, the key we were given to access the room did not work and we had to go get another one. Little did we know, a key was barely required to enter the room because the door would not lock properly. Upon entering the room the first thing we noticed was the terrible smell. It's hard to describe exactly, but it reminded me of nasty body odor and wet dog smell, maybe with a hint of rotting animal. Upon closer inspection later on in the night we found that the source of the smell was coming from the comforters on the bed. It is quite possible that they had not been washed in a year. My friend & I inquired about a room, the woman manager said there was only one available. She explained it had four beds in it because some of the workers stay in that particular room at times. Lol I thought I was getting a luxury room for $80 including tax. OMG!!!! The room was horrific! The drapes were barely hanging because the rod was bent so bad, the mini fridge was rusty, the 80's style tv had no remote, I attempted to take a bath because it had jets in it (what the heck what was I thinking right?) there was no functioning plug or device to to keep the water from draining. There were no wash cloths & the two towels that were in there were so old, thin & ripped. I went to the office & inquired about a plug for the bathtub. Do not take a service dog here. They will charge a $20 fee even if you have papers proving your dog is a service dog. I'm calling ADA Monday to let them know. The lady at the front desk wanted to argue that she could do that because she's not fron the United States. I told her ADA will be contacting her in a couple of days. Then she told me to leave her property. I told her, gladly lady. BYE KAREN.

We paid $35 per night.. but they stole my credit card information and bought $75 worth of food at Pluckers... which was right down the street.||||Weird people living there. As we walked up to the office the owners were making out at the front office.. in the open. Ghetto place. Smelled like cigarets. Everything was dirty. Avoid this place, pay a little more somewhere else. Not worth the stay.
