Beartrap campground

The website was hard to reserve a spot, good fireplaces, nice tables, restrooms and garbage bins, it was beautiful!! I think there should be a limited on how many sites one guest can reserve. one guest we stayed across from came over the next morning and told us 18 ppl were coming in like an hour and she reserved 5 camp spots, we had to move, which was fine but then it was 1 tent at each spot they all just happen to gather at the old campsite we moved from and then left early the next morning, she made it inconvenient for the rest of the campers, we still had fun, still would go again bc even tho there was a huge party till 4am it was quiet once we slept in the truck! And the convenient store half way up the mountain has plenty of items you may have forgot or just want more snacks for you

Very quite. Clean bathrooms. Great wildlife seen right in our camp site

Can’t get a campsite without going online. That is great if; 1- there was and 4g up there and 2- you can’t see the site prior to purchase. Everything from 1-12 is nowhere near level. Not a fan of the online system.

Always loved Beartrap,,this time we only parked our trucks to ride our atvs. Beautiful ride Casper Mountain is amazing!!!

The campground is well kept and there is a little playground near the pit toilets.
