Beachview Inn

At first glance, we weren't sure, but everything was perfect. Joe is amazing, funny, great hospitality. The rooms are recently renovated and clean. The beds were comfortable, the shower head was amazing and the location is great. Definitely will come back.

This is a modest old motel which is perfectly fine for a short stay because the location is EXCELLENT--literally a 3 minute walk to the Santa Cruz Wharf and to cafes and 5 minutes to the Boardwalk. We also loved the free parking as we didn't have to move the car for two days--which was a big point in making our trip so relaxing. Our room also had a great view of the water and palm trees. Yes, the rooms are showing their age, but we also had a microwave and refrigerator and bit TV and lots of hot water. What more could we want!Bonus points for Las Palmas Tacos across the street with great Mexican food for breakfast and lunch.

Positive: Comfortable bed and room and convenient parking in the lot. Very easy access to beach boardwalk, which is across the street. Negative: Front desk staff person was inconsistent in her tone and attitude, so could use professional training in the field of hospitality.

Location, absolutely perfect & the staff are really nice. Lukewarm water, at best, in the shower. The shower rod fell on my husband’s head while he was in there. The AC took a while to cool down the room. I don’t think that I will be back

I was so pleased! I had evening plans on the wharf, so just wanted to spend the night somewhere close as opposed to driving back home to Los Gatos. Clean room, AC that truly cooled the room, amazing hot water in the shower, huge TV channel selection, and comfy bed! Plus, I had a fashion emergency with my dress, and the owner came to my rescue with a safety pin. I will be back!!!! 😊😊
