Baymont by Wyndham Valdosta at Valdosta Mall

Positive: LEAVING! Negative: YES! Nasty dirty. It smelled. NO hand soap in the room. No drinking cups in the room. Had a coffee maker with NO cups, no coffee, but I wouldn't have used it anyway. NO hair dryer, just the filthy base hanging on the wall. Mold!

Front desk guy in as incredibly nice / friendly. We should have k own what we were in for when we saw all the portable dehumidifier in the hallways. Our room was far from perfect. The toilet was running full-steam unless we shut it off at the valve on the wall. There was a humidifier / purifier running in our room. Not sure why, especially if dehumidifier were necessary in the hallways. The bed was clean and comfortable. The shower was clean. This morning on our walk to Cracker Barrel I noticed past roof damage. The roof looks like it was haphazardly repaired. That's probably the reason for the dehumidifiers. In short, this hotel needs a lot more than an ounce of prevention.

Don't walk, run away. This place is a mess, very dirty. I'm scared to lay or touch anything, Im scared to shower here as well. The room look new and modern, but that's overlooked by the absolute filth of this place. They have old furniture and junk piled under the stairs, and their is standing water. If they just pressure wash this place and care about the appearance it will look a lot more cleaner.

Driving through and needed a place to stop for the night that was dog friendly. I arrived very late at night and went to the check in window ninth guys name bob helpfull where an attendant was waiting and available. My reservation was processed promptly and I immediately went to the room. Keep in mind that is is a baymon inn, a motor lodge and your expectations will be well met. super clean room....fresh air The room was standard size and what was to be expected. The room was clean And the bed was comfortable and the bed linens smelled fresh. Breakfast in the morning was in a nice setting with the usual fare. This place was absolutely fit to the requirements I was looking for in an overnight stop off the highway.
