Baymont by Wyndham Springfield South Hwy 65

***DO NOT GET A ROOM HERE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR DEPOSIT!!! I used a credit card for the deposit at this hotel. The first night we were there the refridgerator didnt work so they moved us to a different room the next day. We we entered this room there was what looked like a camera attached to the headboard of the bed. I looked at it closer and realized it was a latch or something that was attached by 2 screws. We didnt notify anybody because it wasnt a camera as far as I could tell. Anyways, days later I found out they took my $150 deposit plus another $100 for damages because of that thing on the headboard. I called the hotel manager and she would not take my call and that I had to email her. I sent an email and she replied that she would look into it. Then sent me an email that said the c

we have stayed here several times and like it. easy on and off the hywy. plenty of parking. staff is very friendly and helpful. easy checkin and out. hotel is clean. breakfast area is clean and has a nice assortment of breakfast food. pool /hottub area is clean. has chairs and tables for sitting in there. rooms are clean. beds are comfortable. nice assortment of pillows. would recommend. photos online show how things are.

Positive: They were prompt in fixing a leak from the shower head in my room. From talking to the front desk to it being fixed was like 10 minutes max. Was highly impressed how fast it was fixed Negative: ""

The doors are inside which is a plus. There wasn't any coffee pot. If have to pick one up at the desk. There was toothpaste spewed on the bathroom door, faucet and mirror. I went to breakfast at 9. (Ends at 9:30) No bacon. A couple of sausage patties, no muffins, no biscuits, no eggs, no pastries one piece of fruit, enough mix to make 2 small waffles and the apple juice drink mix was dumping way too much mix in the cup with water. The bed was comfortable and there were NO BED BUGS.

Close enough to get everything we needed to do but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was good. Great service. Kids love the pool. Coming back a month from now and will stay here again
