Baymont by Wyndham Port Wentworth

Great location off of I-95, a warm greeting (however get rid of the scent machine). The rooms were recently renovated but the contractors left many unfinished areas from drywall to a tub drain plug. Bedding was clean and very comfortable. Details matter.

Would not recommend. I booked the suite when I arrived, and was told the room was under renovation. However, there was a foul odor when you opened the door. There was no microwave in the room, and the linen didn't look clean, nor did the floor or the carpet. I was told that I needed to put a card on file for deposit, but was charged the deposit for supposedly linen damage to linen that didn't look clean when I checked in. It wasn't worth the $532 I paid for a three-night stay. I wish I had followed my first mind when an issue was brought to my attention when I checked in and went to a different hotel. Positive: Location. It was quiet and I was able to walk my dog around the area. Negative: TV was unnecessary small and the aspect ratio was small.

I recently stayed at the Beaumont Inn at Port Wentworth, GA. My room was lovely! It was nicely decorated and very welcoming. The room smelled clean and fresh. Many hotels keep the air conditioning off and the room smells musty. This room did not. Breakfast was delicious.

1-Star Review Avoid This Hotel – Unsafe, Unclean, and Completely Unprofessional This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I was forced to change rooms three times, and each room had its own serious issues: • Room 1: No working power outlets and smelled strongly of mold. • Room 2: TV was broken, sheets were dirty, and towels were stained with holes. • Room 3: Water damage on the ceiling and roaches crawling around the room. When I reported the roach issue to the front desk, Heni Patel told me to “just grab the spray and kill it” myself. Then she knocked on my door at 1:00 AM to ask if I had done it—waking up my sleeping kids in the process. On top of all that, they still charged me my security deposit even though I caused zero damage and left the room clean.
