Red Roof Inn Savannah North I-95 – Port Wentworth

If I could rate this place with a big fat zero I would. It is by far the seediest Red Roofs I’ve stayed at and with dogs I transport from one of the county to another, I’ve stayed at a few. |Tile coming up off the floor, mold and water stains in ceiling, long strips of paint peeling off the ceiling over a tub-shower that too has seen better days. |Toilet visibly filthy, entrance door does not close all the way. How do they remain in business? How do they pass inspection?

The manager was being very rude to me over a simple mistake. I thought I had booked the room for 2 nights. And I did not. Which I take accountability for. I was out of the hotel at the time of check out, and they called me. So I said I’d be there in about 20 minutes to collect my things. I just wanted to stay in a different hotel. When I got there, the manager was so disrespectful and talking to me crazy! The night before he told me to enjoy my stay and check out is at 11 everyday. I said, thank you! I thought he meant in general. As soon as I walked in, he was so disrespectful to me! He said things like “I told you when check out was.” “I don’t know if you were listening to what!?” “If you wanted to stay longer, you were supposed to come here in the morning!” He just kept going and going.

The staff was very friendly and professional, the man that checked me in was beyond nice and helpful! The rooms were clean no bugs at all. That’s my main thing when getting a hotel and this one was on point they didn’t charge me an extra fee for my dog and was very accommodating to the fact that she’s old and can’t go up steps and gave me the bottom floor with no hassle, toe beds were clean and comfy. Would definitely recommend!!

Girl working the desk was the sweetest woman ever. Asked us multiple times if everything was satisfactory. Only downside we had was handicap rooms only have 1 bed so we had to get 2-bed rooms with no accessibility options. But we were right in front of the parking ramp so it all worked out. If you need a shower chair, they have them! Decent place. Great folks running it. Right next to the gas station so super convenient spot for snacks too. Will stay again.
