Baymont by Wyndham Orangeburg North

There is no way that this hotel meets any cleanliness standards.|The room we stayed in did not lock properly and there were people hanging around outside smoking drugs, so we felt very unsafe and had to barricade the door with luggage. Fortunately we only stayed for one night but it was a highly stressful and uncomfortable experience due to the overpowering stench of cigarettes that plagued the room. The bathroom was in disgusting condition with mould on the shower curtain, in the bathtub and on the floor. When i woke in the morning I felt very unrested and unfortunately had caught a stye from the unclean sheets.|Absolutely nauseating.

Positive: "" Negative: The breakfast was waffles and premade bagel sandwiches, tang and coffee. Nothing else. The closet door in our room did not close so the trash can sat I front of it; there was a hole in the bathroom door and a hole in the sink

When we first walked into the room it wasn’t that bad. It looked clean and promising. Then I went into the bathroom and it was disgusting. There’s missing drywall in the shower, black and brown spots everywhere, a dirty wash cloth hanging on the curtain rod and I can only assume fecal matter on the wall next to the toilet. However, it was 2:00am, I can deal with it looking rough, until I went to crawl in the bed and seen what I thought was a roach so I grabbed some tissue to kill it and as soon as I grabbed it, blood just bursted out!! It was a BEDBUG!! So I packed everything back up, called the front desk and he was quick to give me a refund thankfully. I even asked if he thought they had a room that didn’t have bed bugs and he said he couldn’t say whether he did or not. Now we’re having

Most disgusting room I’ve ever stayed in. Filthy room. Strong odor. Electrical outlets didn’t work. Mold on shower curtain. Carpet was stained and falling apart. No smoke alarm. Small towels. Mirrors were dirty. Stains on the walls.

The staff was exceptionally polite and accommodating. The rooms were a little damp but I'm sure it was because o the cleaning un preparation of a booked weekend. The beds were also really comfortable and I slept well. And, they held my belongings that I left for a week, until I was able to get back there to pick it up. I would stay again.
