Beware...manager and employees running quite a scam here. Reservation desk was very friendly but failed to inform me of the $100 cash only deposit required at check-in because my address is within 60 miles of the hotel. When I checked-in on 2/20/2026 I tried to get them to put the deposit on my debit card but they refused and said the deposit is cash only and there is conveniently an ATM located in the lobby. At that point I figured the ATM fee was the scam. Much to my surprise, when checking out on 2/22/2026 they refused to give me my cash deposit back because my dog (which I paid $60 extra for him to stay) got a couple paw prints on the sheets. This was just dirt from him going outside. She claimed that the dirt would not come out and wouldn't give me the deposit back, and was very rude

Positive: The decor of the room was surprisingly modern. Negative: One of the staff members at the front desk was horrendously unfriendly and rude! We paid extra for a kitchen in the room and it was completely dusfunctional and had zero cooking utensils! The kitchen light didn’t work!

I'm thoroughly impressed with the rooms the size is great lots of storage. The staff is amazing, The manager on duty Jenny was very informative client and welcoming to my family and myself. The room was clean and presented well very glad we took a chance.

I was surprised that it could be this bad. Upon arrival to my room, I noted that the toilet was very loose and the sink had a slow drain. I turned on the water in the tub and it came out brown but then turned to clear. I attempted to call downstairs to let them know but the phone had no dial tone. I used my cell phone to call and let the staff know. He was friendly and apologized. I expressed that it was too late for me to get in to another room as I was only staying the one night and could deal with it. |The next morning, I went down to "breakfast" to discover several issues. Patel I reserved and stay in you hotel last week and my experience was very unpleasant and confusing. 1- your hotel advertised-hot breakfast, sorry but there was nothing hot like in the othe your hotel in Manistee hotel . 2- your morning shift on the February 20 was very none professional and very rude. One lady told me that there is no food from breakfast go to the room , I told them that I’m putting the waffle in to my car and I left to pick up my stuff from room and ready to go ,, she lock me out and I have to go back to the front desk to reactivate the key , and I asked - I hope you don’t go a charge me the 20 $ fine ,, answer- we will investigate and let you know, I told her that I had a cart out dinner from Arby’s, btw with very rude tone of her vo
