Baymont by Wyndham Merrillville

Our GPS glitched and took us to a wrong Baymont hotel. When we got there I smelled strong odor of marijuana right outside the front door. The front person asked if I had a reservation and I said yes, but probably due to the front staff being trained they didn't tell me that they couldn't find my reservation and they just assumed that I was just walking in with 5 of us across 2 rooms. Usually, if I show up at a wrong hotel they will tell me that I am at a wrong hotel but not this one. The next morning I went down to talk with someone if I can get it refunded (at least partially) but the front person said there was nothing they can do as they "provides you the room, right?" And suggested to send an email to a manager via gmail address written on a piece of paper. The whole hotel smelled od

Absolutely disgusting. Upon checking in the woman at the front desk was very rude and unwelcoming. Place seemed clean downstairs, but once I got to my room it was not. The pillowcases were dirty and the sheets. The lamp had extreme molding . The bathroom had water stains and mold. The chair was peeling. I could not stay 5 mins before checking right back out. Unfortunately I booked with a third party so I couldn’t get a refund .

No Toilet paper in the room, TV dont work. The type of place you're feet burn if you walk barefoot on the carpet. Turd in the elevator, trash been full since I been here, garbage on the floors, gum in carpet. Stains everywhere. I sleep in my car and am about to leave to go sleep in the cold over staying here. Lady behind the desk needs to be fired asap. Building Should be condemned.owners and managment should be ashamed! Horror hotel of hell. ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ wouldn't stay here if it was free and -10 outside.

Positive: The location and accessibility Negative: The room was short pillows and had no comforter. Toilet was cracked. Walls were sticky with glue or something. Staff did not seem to care.

By far this is the grossest hotel I've ever stayed at. We were first given room 220. The air conditioner was blowing out warm air. So they moved us to room 217. My son went to take a bath and there was gum and hair stuck in the bathtub. I went to the desk and showed her a picture of what I found. I told her we had been driving for 10 hours and we wanted to take baths and soak. She gave me the key for room 104. This is a handicapped room that smelled like urine and it had a wheelchair accessible shower. At this point I gave up. Please listen to my advice do NOT stay here. I'm scared to know what was on this mattress.
