After reading the reviews I should have fled, but I was desperately tired.||Apon entry i noticed the light switch didn't work then the lamp didn't work I then tripped over the peeling fake wood floor on my way to the lamp by the bed. I opened the filthy window above the ac unit which literally fell to pieces on the floor revealing years of dust clogging up the filter. After putting the plastic front , vent and filter door back together all just held in place by gravity and luck||I then attempted to turn on the tv which was unplugged and after adjusting the input and tightening the connections it actually worked. I then noticed the bathroom had no mirror over the sink and the toilet was askew by six inches judging by the filthy caulk mark on the floor. The smoke detector was hanging out of

There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom because there was no exhaust fan in there. I found an earring in our bed. They also had very small and not very good selection for breakfast and u were not allowed to take it to ur room! At most hotels the cleaning crew will give u an extra towel or washcloth, especially if u have ur dirty ones in hand. NOT HERE. U must take them to the lobby and exchange them. The only nice thing I can say is that the 2 gentlemen that were working the desk when we came in were very nice and helpful. The lady who worked overnight was especially nice! Not so much with the rest of the staff. Was very disappointed and will not return to this hotel.

Booked a room on February 14, 2025 for that night on our way to Florida. Walking up to the front door we were greeted by cigarette butts at the front entrance. On our way to our room #304, we noticed the garbage cans were full and overflowing. The elevator had garbage on the floor and more cigarette butts. Getting off the elevator, the smell of marijuana was strong. As we approached our room door, we noticed it had been broken and patched, as well as many of the doors on the floor. Going inside the room, the first light switch did not work, so I reached into the bathroom to turn that light on, but it was broken as well. Positive: "" Negative: Roaches everywhere in the room. I bought bug spray and the roaches still kept coming out from the tv stand. No exaggeration there was alot of them. The room was dirty when i got there but this was the third room i had to switch so i just let it be

The staff was very friendly. We were greeted by Ruth, who remembered us from our previous trip.We did not go in expecting fancy. For an older hotel, it was great. The rooms could use a little improvement. Breakfast was above my expectations. There was hot food such as grits, sausage, and potatoes. The kitchen lady went above and beyond her duties. The staff was very accommodating.
