Baymont by Wyndham Cartersville

Hotel lobby and rooms were really clean. There was a full size refrigerator in our room and we believe it was giving off an odd odor, nothing bad just refrigerators a box of arm n hammer or something would probably fix it. Was a perfect spot for us after Atlanta traffic and our final destination in southern Illinois. We’d stay again. Plus the station next door has several options for food if you choose.

Positive: Pool was good for 4 days then needed cleaned. Sheets and towels were clean. I stayed a week. Negative: BUGS I told staff about the bugs and changed rooms and bugs were also there. Dirty, stains on furniture, carpets dirty and breakfast is NOT continental. Very small bathroom. I feel bad for housekeeping should be retired.

We made reservations based on location and conscience to our destination. We arrived late at night night after driving 10 hours …we were very tired otherwise we would not have stayed. The hotel is old, and worn. Bed side lamps did not work. Carpets were stained, dust and dirt in corners of the room. AC kept the room minimally cool. Went to take a shower only to find out towels looked like car wash rags. The only positive was the water was hot. Also noticed elevator inspection was pat due by several months.

Super friendly staff. Lobby area stunning and clean. Beds are comfortable. Convenient area with options for dinning within walking distance! Definitely a nice place with affordable price.
