Bay Bayou RV Resort

I resided here at the park for 5 months and it was beautiful and well worth it! I was here during the summer. I work a lot but whenever I had time off I would spend time in the pool, walking around the park looking at nature, the crabs, ducks, birds, and lizards. I really enjoyed the wildlife here, especially with it being right in your backyard!! There is a couple docks by the bayou where you can meditate and relax. You can even watch for manatees in the winter time when they’re migrating I’ve heard! I didn’t get a chance to kayak while I was there, but there’s a kayak launch. It felt like a nature getaway! This was a great resort in Florida.|We are just on our way back to Canada now and I wanted to take a minute to comment how great this rv park was. We stayed here Jan 24-Feb 25, 2025 and I really wish it was longer. Pool was nice and clean and warm even when the weather was a little cooler. There were lots of activities at the park which was nice. Taco night, Food Truck Friday, Craft show, live bands and my husbands fav, Texas HoldEm. The park itself is situated between Tampa and the beaches on the gulf coast. Everything was about a 20-30 min drive from us. Whether you like watching NHL hockey, going to a horse race, or shopping at the malls, it’s all right there. |Everyone in the park is very welcoming, including the staff. I don't have a ton of experience but this place is centrally located near parks and trails and many Florida recreational areas that are excellent. The resort is secure. Peaceful and tge spaces are pretty nice. Ive seen bigger sites but the old trees and the tranquility here is excellent. People are great and very helpful. Prices are average but for what you get I'll be coming back for sure.

Location is great! We got a spot with the Dock behind, which was fun for the kids to fish. Strict on rules. Guests didn't seem to like my boys biking and gave dirty looks. Bath House only has 1 Shower, definitely not great for a large family. Pool was heated, but no Hot Tubs.

They called the day of our arrival stating that they do not allow truck campers. They then said they would refund our full deposit. THEY DID NOT!!!!! They kept $100 and were quite rude!!! Our rig combined totals almost $400,000... It is a brand new Northern light and brand new 450. They took our reservation and our money when we were hours away with no place left to go thank you so much for your unforgettable hospitality!!!! We will inform everyone in the community to steer clear of this crappy resort. Update The original date we made our reservation was January 19, 2025. This place waited until the day of arrival to confirm??? Also, half of the original deposit was refunded initially. The other half was only refunded once I called and told this place they would receive a not so nice re
