Ayres Hotel Corona - Riverside

I've stayed many times. Best thing is that the staff is always friendly, helpful & usually remember me. They are accommodating & I am appreciate of this. The rooms are okay. Better than average. Water (think it is largely a Corona thing) smells SO bad. Shower with it but use bottled water to drink or brush your teeth! Not something within their control, but fyi. Wendy & Dom as well as the Manager, Scott, I believe, have always been kind, helpful & welcoming. Breakfast is a great bonus, with really good scrambled eggs! One other element is the noise, as there are often kids that run up & down the halls screaming, perhaps playing. This should cease by 10pm, as others pay to stay, not just families with children. Overall, a nice little place, that does not thankfully charge for parking 🙂

Stayed here for a work event. It was a nice comfy bed, loved it could walk to all the stuff across the streets. Tons of food and retail shopping. This was an easy no brainer.No super frills but it was awork trip so more than happy.

Positive: Room was large & clean. Negative: Looks somewhat lower end on the outside. Lots of retail out front & next to freeway. But it was set back from the street so it ended up being quieter than anticipated.

We enjoyed our stay. Our first room had a weird smell. We went to the front desk and they happily changed our room. The gal was awesome! The room was a good size. It was neat and clean. The room just had a refrigerator, no microwave. It had a coffee maker also.|The breakfast was very good. Scrambled eggs, sausage, and potatoes. Also, french toast,cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit and pastries and bread for toast.|We would definitely stay again. Actually, it's the second time we've stayed here. Great hot tub and pool.|There are plenty of restaurants in the area. Plus , Walmart and a Costco near by.

Room 221 (up the stairs and first on the left) is horribly designed and should never be used. It’s above the lobby and they have the fire lit the room collects all the heat and is impossible to cool and you can’t open the window because the huge compressor is directly outside making lots of noise. We tried for hours to sleep and when I finally went down to ask for a new room the guy was a little put off. Then he blamed me for setting the ac wrong, which wasn’t the issue as we had tried the various settings before giving up and asking for a new room. The room is in disrepair. The bathroom fan was load and clunky as well as the ac unit. After moving rooms the guy had the audacity to call and try to push blame on me after we were already settled in to a new room with the lights off. Inconside
