avid hotel Lancaster by IHG

This is a basic, no frills hotel chain, but with that said, my experience was great. My room was clean and comfortable. The shower was hot and had plenty of water pressure. I was able to connect my phone and stream movies and TV shows with ease. The on-site EV charging was what ultimately made me select this specific hotel. At 25 cents per Kw, it is a little more expensive that what you pay at home, but cheaper than going to a supercharger. I am more than willing to pay for the convenience of charging my car while traveling, but I don't want to be ripped off and pay exorbitant fees for the service. The price of the room was reasonable, the room itself was very comfortable, the breakfast was nice & hot, and the EV charging was very convenient. Overall a great experience.

A group of friends traveled to the Sight and Sound Theater and wanted to stay a night. We made the right choice with the Avid! It's in a very convenient location close to everything in Amish country. The hotel is extremely clean, bright and modern. Every employee we encountered was pleasant and helpful. Although we didn't use the pool this time, it looked inviting. The breakfast options were good with choices to please most appetites. 24/7 complimentary coffee and tea is appreciated. It was a great choice!

We stayed at Avid Hotels and I felt like I needed to leave a review because of how kind the staff was to us. Late at night my daughter suddenly got sick and threw up on the bed. I was exhausted and felt terrible about it. My fiancé called the front desk and the woman working that night was incredibly understanding. I did not catch her name but she made a stressful situation so much easier. She came up right away to change the sheets and was nothing but kind about it. She could clearly see our daughter was sick and never made us feel embarrassed. What really meant a lot to us was that around 1am she brought Pedialyte for our daughter without us asking. I had a great stay. The staff was great, the hotel was up to date. Everyone working was so nice and personable from the breakfast attended to the front desk. I was greeted by Joey who was very welcoming and friendly! I will be back again. Thank you all! My only complaint is no turkey products for breakfast only pork! But I solved that by buying my kids turkey sausages from the store to go with their breakfast.
