Avalon Motel

Nice hot shower but the towels were stained pretty badly. The bed was comfortable, although the sheets were stained badly as well and didn't keep my husband and I very warm at all. The floors and bathroom were very very clean though. The room was furnished with only a T.V., a dresser, two night stands, and a place to hang clothes. No hangers either.

This motel is clean and very affordable about 65$ a day. Sonny the night manager is a quiet and nice person. If you need to get away this motel is quaint and ducked away from the chaos. It's just minutes from downtown Dallas on the top of a hill.

Only ID I had was my TDC prison ID nowhere else would take it and I needed a place to stay. They looked out. Yeah eventually they turned me away but took me when no one else would. That alone to me got my rating, the rooms where better kept than I expected.

Decent place. I have been here over a month and it's ok. Rooms are Decent prices are ok. Could be cheaper but all in all not a bad place. Staff is friendly.Sam the owner needs to make a few updates to things like blinds, doors and plumbing. Good Place. Ballers.

I paid for two nights. The second day two guys were breaking into my car, owner did nothing. He said he was looking all day and didn't see any one. Stay away everyone's watching and won't help.
