Autumn Inn

I forgot to write a review but me and my friend came here about 2 months ago for a last minute one night visit and they accommodated us. The staff member is incredibly kind and hospitable. He wears glasses and I think is south Asian unfortunately I don’t know his name. The next morning when we went to get ready to leave, my friends car battery died and that same staff member went above and beyond getting us car cables and a couples car for assistance (I’m not sure if they’re part or the community or staff) they all helped us get my friend’s car started! Then that same staff member gave me and my friend water bottles because he saw how stressed we were and made sure we’re good and safe to go. We felt very safe. Clean and cozy inn, it’s what you’d expect for a motel. Motel manager helped out when I had an issue with my car and even offered us a longer stay in the room after checkout until the problem was resolved. I’m super appreciative of that and would recommend this motel simply for that reason.

The photos on the internet are either old or photoshopped the main building looks a lot more weathered. But anyway, check in was quick and easy and the owner was very helpful. They have a coin operated laundry which the manager will trade notes for coins for you. I was upgraded to a king room from a double and initially I was happy with this but there was a very strong musty smell to the room (13) so I opened the window and left the door open for a while. The bed was enormous and well appointed. The furniture was good and you could tell the owners wife had an input because there were some nice feminine touches. The bathroom had been renovated and had a good sink and mirror, but appeared to be the original bath with a difficult to operate tap. However the water was very hot which is good. O

Absolutely disgusting. They don't tend to anything and when they do it's the bare minimum and half the rooms have bed bugs. By far the worst hotel to stay at in Bennington

We Came here to Stay for the Evening After Hrs of driving we then Went Right in and went to sleep,woke up To chilly Air ,Looked for an Extra Blanket none in the room anywhere,didnt want to call the front desk as it was Around 2 am!) Woke up Tried to take a Hot shower 🚿 Was Cold ❄ and Did not get any hotter
