Austin Marriott Downtown

The Austin Narriott downtown does not disappoint! It is very luxurious! The rooms are a bit small, but the bess are comfortable, the rooms are quiet, and the views are spectacular! The 7th floor rooftop bar is absolutely stunning! The ambiance is off the charts! The pool area and cabanas are equally incredible! The lobby is expansive, beautiful, and relaxing! Check in was a breeze and the host walked is to the elevators. Loaf & Vine is a large food place with sandwiches and coffee and many convenience foods and the best part is that they were still open for prepared sandwiches at 10:45pm on Friday night! Corrine is an onsite restaurant and the food was incredible! Also, the Austin downtown hotels have to charge a $25 a day experience fee. I think this is an Austin imposed thing, but Marrio

I wasn’t sure about the location, but we ended up loving it. GORGEOUS views from our room on the 28th floor. Had access to the executive lounge, which was very comfy. Fast elevators. They do ding you with a $25/day resort fee, so that sucks, but you can “use it” towards extra charges billed to your room, up to $25 per day. A bit of a scheme, but whatever.

Positive: Great location and nice view of the river Negative: The food options without leaving the hotel were very expensive and not that great. The beds were very hard and they have no hot tub. The room decor seems like a college dorm and nothing is built in so it looks like an afterthought.

Pay attention to your belongings! Nice location. The room had a nice View. Nice gym. Ok+ food and resturant. Nice bar. Nice gym. BUT: When we came, the reception could not find our name on the reservation, we are used to 2mins checkin but here we spent half an hour even as the only people there checking in. Very unpractical room. when you enter the hotel room there is no entrance, just straight into the bathroom. Which is unhygenic. You can hear everything happening in the bathroom from the bedroom, due to just a thin glass sliding door. One day there were no hot water in the shower or sink without any notice. Worst of all, the cleaner stole my fiance AirPods during housekeeping (we tracked it and have the adress of the appartment for this person) and when we informed the front desk, the

We had an amazing stay at the Marriott Downtown Austin celebrating my fiancé’s birthday! Ricky went above and beyond before our arrival to make sure everything was perfect, and his helpful, responsive communication made the process seamless. At check-in, Lily (who was training Owen) was warm, professional, and so thoughtful to offer us an upgrade and let us choose our room location for the celebration. Owen was equally kind and welcoming, even walking us to the elevator and sharing details about the property. We also had wonderful interactions with Dre and Zanzibar, who truly helped make the birthday celebration feel extra special. Outstanding guest service all around. We’re so grateful and can’t wait to return!
