Applewood Inn

We absolutely loved our stay. Jen & Jay were the perfect combinations of attentive while allowing us our privacy. Breakfast was deliciously made to order, but the company and conversation really made our stay. Always ready with a recommendation, the innkeepers were just wonderful. The room - we stayed in a private room with a private jacuzzi - a perfect honeymoon suite. It was my first time in Maine and I can't wait to go back.

Jen was so accommodating for my mother who has physical accessibility needs. The room was clean and cozy. They were flexible and attentive. I highly recommend the Applewood Inn! Thank you Jen, Jay, and Aiden!

Frist time in Maine. Friends suggested we stay at Applewood Inn, located in Freeport. This is an amazing Inn. Jay, the owner, was amazing and made sure to make our stay memorable. The room I was in (10) was beautiful, roomy, comfortable. Home cooked Breakfast every morning, The location is wonderful, as you are in walking distance to everything. Each night we gathered outside by the fire pit to talk about our day. I can't wait to go back. Jay and his team were very welcoming!

The Applewood Inn is the perfect location for a visit to Freeport. Everything is within walking distance. The hosts are amazing! During our 4 day stay we truly felt like family. Jay and Jenn and the other guests were welcoming, friendly, helpful, and informative. The Inn is extremely clean and comfortable. The hosts clearly make the extra effort to guarantee a wonderful stay.

Staying at the Applewood Inn was very relaxing and it was like being with family. Jay, Jenn and the whole family were terrific. They made us feel very welcome. Jays dad made a great breakfast both mornings and the room was quiet, comfortable and private. We will be staying at the Applewood every time we come to Freeport.
