Customer Reviews
Waterfront campsite, canoe launch and stairs to water were a few sites down, but I took the steep path straight from our site. Bathhouse was large, bright and clean. Site was large with plenty of level spots for choice for tent placement. Beautiful sunsets
Campground is ok but they need to be more selective with staff members - at least in the East Bay area. Screaming at senior citizens because their music is too loud before 8 o'clock on a Friday night is totally unacceptable. Had she asked nicely instead of screaming like a banshee we would have turned it down. My husbands hearing aids are going bad so we understand if it bothers others.|The only rules broken during our stay were from staff members. Screaming at paying customers, and security letting his dog run off leash while us paying customers have to keep theirs leashed.
Wolfneck Family Campground is looked forward to every year. We love the peace of watching the wildlife, be it in the bay waters or critters on the ground. A crackling campfire at night closes out our day well. This well run organic farm offers oceanfront camp sites. There are sites for RVs, just tent sites you can drive to and in the quiet cove parking is down the trail and wagons are supplied to bring your supplies in and out. There are cabins and pre-set up tent sites. All sites are clean, and well maintained. The location is just a few miles from town, home of LLBean's flagship store among other outlets and restaurants. Wolfneck State Park is right around the corner for wonderful day hiking and picnics. A short drive north will get you to Brunswick and 20 minutes south you'll find Portl
We enjoyed off-season camping here. While no services or staff were available, the registration process was workable, the campground quiet, the hiking great (I hiked a lot), and proximity to town is handy.
Wolfneck is a wonderful place to walk, hike, walk your dog. Bring the Rv. Stay a few nights. If u want to glamp and few nights u can do that. Also they have A frame camps with 2 twin beds a TV and coffee maker. Also have cabins for bigger family's. So much fun at wolfneck!
