I was in Freeport for one night in July and stayed here. The innkeepers are a wonderful couple who make you feel right at home. This is a hybrid kind of inn. The house contains the office and the eating area for breakfast. The rooms are motel-like and are found in a building right behind the main building. They are very nice, clean, and comfortable. I had a lovely stay there and enjoyed the peace and quiet greatly. In the morning I was the first and only guest to come to breakfast at 7 am. The innkeeper greeted me, prepared a wonderful breakfast , and then joined me across the room for coffee while I enjoyed breakfast. His company was delightful and he told me a lot of great information about Freeport and my next destination, Bar Harbor. I enjoyed my stay here very much and would definitel

We stayed here for two nights on a recent trip to Maine. It is conveniently located, walking distance to all shopping and restaurants in Freeport. The room was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was great, we both had blueberry pancakes and enjoyed a nice chat with the owner. We will return!!

Location was perfect, park the car then walk into town. This is a simple, clean, friendly place, just like staying with your grandparents. We stayed in the rooms in the back building, quiet, clean, basic. A great way to start our Maine travels. And breakfast was great, I recommend the blueberry pancakes!

2 nights in freeport and a packed itinerary. Shop in the evening, explore during the day, but start the morning with a hearty breakfast (see photo of home made blueberry pancakes and the breakfast area).||The owner waited for us from an unavoidable delay (traffic from Boston, car trouble). The room was very clean (floor too), the window a/c worked (bedding kept us cozy), ample towels, and basic toiletries.||The breakfast by Lewis and his stories were our highlights. The high tech navy shipyard in bath, wiscassett lobster stalls, resident's view of freeport, and their "forever marriage"||In front of the inn faces a typical new England white church (see photo, you can barely hear the church bells), ample parking, 5 minutes walk to the outlets and restaurants.
