AmericInn by Wyndham St. Cloud MN Shopping Area

Probably one of the worse hotels we have stayed and we travel alot! When we first got here it wasnt welcoming at all no hi it was i need your card and here is your room keys! Got to the room, keys didn't work had go down there multiple times to get it reactivated! After about 2 hours i got a notification that they where trying to charge my card again for $150. Mind you first charged had already cleared! Got to the room there was no toilet paper had to go down to front desk to get some,. Tried the pool there was no towels had go to front desk to grab some also took them about 10 minutes to come to the front desk because they where on their phone! We stayed 2 days and when we came back after leaving for the first day rooms weren't even touched! No house keeping at all we didn't have shampoo

The rooms were ok. They needed to be cleaned better. Although the carpet was just cleaned it was still damp so I had to keep my shoes on. The bathroom had some minor garbage on floor but hadn't been mopped. My friends room was also slightly dirty, with a dirty towel still in there. The elevator was filthy, needed to be wiped down & vacuumed. Breakfast was ok, the gal kept it well stocked. Front desk was friendly. It's an ok place to stay for a night but there are nicer options out there unless it's maintained better.

Positive: "" Negative: The hot tub was lukewarm one of the nights we went in it. The first night we saw two ladies and they had said it was “too hot” earlier in the day so it had to be cooled down. We didn’t go in the pool because we were told it was super cold.

Location was strategic, surrounded by restaurants and shops. Room was abit old, need some maintenance. Breakfast was quite basic but it was good. Overall it was an okay stay if you're just staying for a night just to rest.

The check in agent was very nice. He made sure we got a good room. The hotel was changing internet providers so there was no internet when we arrived. A couple of hours later they brought us login instructions for the new service.
