Americas Best Value Inn - I-75 Gainesville North

I thought location was great - close to everything. Staff was friendly. I was happy that I received one of the remodeled rooms, but I was not very satisfied with the cleanliness of the room- rusty frig, linens were dirty -especially beds, towels and bathroom. There were black hairs on sheets, mattress pad, bathroom tub was gross-tub faucet was broken. Cigarette burns on tub. My daughter wouldn't even use the shower. we heard our screaming neighbors all morning like they were in our room. Not very likely I would stay again unless they clean it up. My stay could have repaired/replaced some things in that room. One room at a time could be a great hotel with better cleaning and bathrooms updated.

The location was great. Right off I75, close to mall and restaurants. The outside looks freshly painted. The pool appeared clean but I didn't get to use it. I had 2 rooms, 226 and 215. 215 had cat hair all over the chair. It smelled of cat urine. It appeared that the cat marked its territory by peeing on the wall. The beds had a sheet and one blanket. The blankets were dirty on all 4 beds. They had cigarette burns in them. It was supposedly in non smoking rooms with queen size beds. The box springs were dirty and torn. I was afraid to look at the mattresses. In room 226 there was a wad of hair on the floor that didn't match any of us. We killed 3 spiders and one cockroach. The floors were gritty in both rooms. Maid service consisted of someone came in and swapped the towels. No one made t

My stay was very unpleasant. The floors had a lot of chemicals and burned my feet. There was no toilet tissue, no nose tissue, I had a used half bar of soap on the bathroom counter. The sink and counter was very dirty. Hair and makeup present. Clearly never cleaned. I called the front desk to tell them my problem and they did not bring me anything. They told me I had to come get the items that I needed for my room. there was broken glass outside my door that I had to pick up because I had dogs and didn't want any accidents. The AC unit was very noisy and partially broken with exposed wires. The bathroom door did not want to shut. the shower head was broken and there was no pressure because of it. The hotel was not what I thought. I saw the pictures on your website before booking; however, when we got there the bathroom was extremely dirty, it had mold all over the tub and walls, it smelled like pee. The sheets didn't smell clean, if they were washed, they didn't use bleach, I could tell. I was very disappointed. I am not picky but we were willing to lose the 165 that we paid for that night and pay at another hotel; we couldn't because there was an event in town and all hotels were booked. Hope you can improve so you don't lose more customers. Good luck!

The way to get into the location is a little bizarre. Rooms were very clean, bedding was clean, no bugs were to be found anywhere. The fridge worked (which even more expensive motels/hotels fail in this category). The pool and pool area were very clean. The only gripe I can have about this place was the tub was a bit dated and worn, but the water pressure and temperature were perfect. I would definitely stay again. Super cheap without feeling like you're staying in a cheap location.
