Customer Reviews
I booked here last minute as I needed a place in Austin. Surprisingly really comfortable beds. Rooms were clean. One big recommendation is that this hotel should add electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. I stayed here with my EV and it would have been so convenient to charge overnight (versus stopping at a "fast" charger and sitting there for 40-minutes). There were other EVs parked here too, so clearly there is already demand. Easy way for the hotel to secure bookings from the competition because every EV driver prefers hotels with charging stations. Austin Energy even offers their customers rebates to reduce the project cost. I recommend contacting local Texas business, Pangea Charging, when you are ready to implement this. It is sure to secure more room-night bookings, increase N
Avoid this dump at all costs. I usually read one-star reviews and think people are just being dramatic—don't make that mistake here. I’ve traveled all over North Carolina, Canada, and LA, and this is easily the most pathetic excuse for "hospitality" I’ve ever encountered. The room was repulsive. The vents were spitting out so much dust I couldn't stop sneezing, and I actually watched a spider crawl right into the vent above my head. When I checked the bathroom, the toilet was stained and filthy, so I had to use the towels just to scrub the seat before I could even sit down. The "service" is a joke. The guy at the desk was smacking on gum like an amateur, acting like helping me was a massive inconvenience. Then, the night turned into a nightmare. Some drunk guy spent hours screaming and try
Do not recommend. Staff is rude, the water feels oily and the rooms feel unsafe. Lots of odd characters around and I wouldn't trust that door lock. It's clean ish but everything is run down and falling apart. I felt very uncomfortable and the deposit ($100) takes a long time to be refunded.
Positive: Location Negative: Unfriendly staff. Fees associated for having an extra person that I met that night and brought back to my room. Fees for extra towels. Bathtub was cracked. I stayed 3 nights and tried to charge me a 4-night stay.
This place is okay if you just need a room for one night, I wouldn’t stay longer… The room needed a sweep there was crumbs around the bed and desk and hair everywhere. Hair on towels, bed, the desk- I wonder if the room was actually cleaned or just quickly tidied. Also the bathtub was really bad, like cracking and looked unsanitary to shower in. Again if you just need a bed for a night this place is okay but I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
