Aloft Ontario-Rancho Cucamonga

I’d give Aloft Rancho Cucamonga 3 stars. If the room had a microwave, it honestly would’ve been 4. The room layout is actually very nice — spacious and comfortable, not cramped like many business hotels. If you get the right side of the building, the mountain view is beautiful, especially toward sunset. The location is decent: about a 1-hour walk to the Metrolink station and roughly 30 minutes to Ontario Mills. Not super convenient, but not bad either if you don’t mind walking. The downsides affected the stay though. No microwave is inconvenient for longer stays or takeout. Hot water takes about five minutes to reach the shower — you have to turn it on early and wait. During my recent visit to Ontario for the Becky G concert on November 16th, I chose to stay at the Aloft Ontario-Rancho Cucamonga, a member of the Marriott portfolio. As a Bonvoy member, I used the Bonvoy Mobile App to book my stay and complete mobile check-in. I had requested an early check-in for 10am, and although it wasn’t ready until noon, it was still appreciated as standard check-in time is 3pm. It was a great start to my concert day!||Upon arrival, the lobby’s vibrant, youthful design immediately caught my attention. With games, a pool table, and a lively ambiance, it’s clear this property is geared toward a younger, energetic crowd. Terrible experience at Aloft Hotels. I booked my stay in advance at a confirmed rate. Apparently my payment didn’t go through, yet I was never notified. I continued receiving emails about checking in and that my room was ready, but nothing about any payment issue. If I had been informed, I would have immediately added another card. Instead, I was told upon arrival that no payment had been taken and that I would now be charged the higher day-of rate. I had no choice but to pay more. The hotel refused to refund the difference, even though the lack of communication was entirely on their end. I also contacted Marriott, but they just redirected me back to the hotel without resolving anything. Very poor communication, zero accountability, and unacceptable customer service. I will not be stay

If the room wasn't so small it be a perfect. I had a mountain facing view that was perfect all checking in was easy. The bar staff were friendly. The vibes were so on point. Fun and relaxing time at the same time
