Aloft Las Colinas

The staff at this hotel are very professional and attentive even very early in the morning. The room was clean and comfortable and I enjoyed having drinks at the bar. You can get a great Variety of food downstairs and the neighborhood feels very safe. The pool area is beautiful. I love that you get points if you don't change your sheets daily.. What great incentive to remind us to be conscious of waste. I'm definitely going to stay here again and again. It's five stars from me.

Aloft is a budget hotel option in the Marriott brand. If you are looking for a place that will recognize Marriott status then this isn’t it. We are BonVoy platinum members and received none of the benefits that come with the status (welcome gift, free breakfast/F&B credits, offered early check-in/late check-out, offered room upgrade, etc) despite the hotel being extremely slow (kind of looked deserted tbh). Staff were friendly and helpful though they offered nothing that they were supposed to for our BonVoy status. Rooms were decently clean and there was a good amount of space. The hotel was on the lower end of most hotels we stay at and it was evident in the details. Beds were comfortable though not as much as the nicer hotels and they use cotton pillows. I stayed at Aloft Las Colinas on December 14–15 and had a wonderful experience. The staff truly stood out. Anna was warm and welcoming at check-in and even recommended snacks—such a thoughtful touch. Andrew was consistently cheerful, kind, and helpful throughout my stay. The overnight team member was also friendly and welcoming. As a frequent business traveler, I can say this level of hospitality is above the standard. I truly appreciated the care and service.

Very nice boutique hotel… they need to add another ice machine perhaps on the first floor. The hotel staff exceptionally kind! They could definitely lower the price on food and drinks in the lobby… I just can’t see paying 10 bucks for small bag of popcorn or five dollars for small can of Red Bull… Well, I did, but I didn’t like it! Nice place to go and chill. (Price) was more than fair especially for Las Colinas. Food and entertainment within 1 mile or less. Check this place out, you’ve got my seal of approval on it.

Good value and location, but our room experience was just ok. As we were settling in, we found a pair of socks that didn’t belong to any of us. We had just arrived so clearly the room wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. I also didn’t like that the fridge was placed in the bathroom under the sink. There are outlets by the bed where it could easily be placed, and hotel fridges rarely leak, so it shouldn’t be a problem to have it on carpet. The shower had leftover caulking that was all over the shower. The room also lacked shelves or storage space for our items, and there was no proper place to hang wet towels. The only towel hook was right beside the toilet, which is pretty unpleasant. Overall, the layout and cleanliness could definitely be improved.
