Aloft Dallas Downtown

We had a great stay at Aloft Dallas Downtown. From the moment we checked in, the staff was extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. The room itself was very nice and well maintained. We did experience an inconvenience with a weed odor in our initial room. We reported it to the front desk, and Kevon went above and beyond to make sure our experience remained excellent. He handled the situation immediately, explained that an irresponsible guest had been smoking and that the smell had traveled through the vents, and promptly moved us to a new room while taking care of the issue. I want to make it clear that this was not a problem caused by the hotel itself, but rather by another guest. My boyfriend and I stayed last weekend. 11/10 stars. I had every intention of giving him the full Dallas tour—but honestly, it was hard to leave the hotel. The beds were ridiculously comfortable, and the karaoke night at the hotel bar was such a pleasant surprise. (Especially to le boyfriend. He had no idea how great he would be at trying karaoke for the first time once I dropped the hint to everyone he was super into it. You can follow his budding music career next time we're in town because we'll 100% be staying here again) Kids totally able to walk through, nothing inappropriate, everyone smiling, great energy. Stayed at the Aloft for a week while working an event at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas. Clean, comfortable room in what seems to be a converted old brick building, the Aloft has a very funky vibe. The pool was a little chilly, and perpetually in the shade, which may be a benefit in July in Dallas, but wasn't that inviting during my stay in October. Convenient to many restaurants in the downtown area, and if you are driving, plenty of surface-level parking.

Excellent service with friendly staff. Maria at the front desk was absolutely amazing! She took care of all my needs, and made the check in/out process super easy. Nice rooms and accommodations were met. Highly recommend staying here if you’re traveling to Dallas.

The location was perfect for our event at the convention center-within walking distance. The hotel is very clean and I love the lobby area. Lots of room to meet and socialize if you’re with a group, and the bar is a nice touch. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The best part, however, is the front desk staff. From the first moment we walked in they were very friendly, warm, and welcoming. They offered great food suggestions and were very accommodating when we needed a late check out. It has been a long time since I have seen such great customer service.
