Albany Plaza Hotel

Positive: Nothing at all! From the moment I walked in I saw the hotel staff so unwelcoming, not a smile for anyone infront of me or myself. Kind of robotic at speaking to guest. Like a practiced line. No hostpitality for no one. Negative: In general all was horrible. But my main complain was over a simple iron. I went down 3 times to ask for a iron and in all she the manager said 10 to 15 minutes please. Like if i bothered her. Got it next day half hour before leaving.

I called ahead after noticing several one-star reviews mentioning cleanliness issues. I don’t usually rely solely on online reviews, so I thought it would be best to speak directly with someone at the front desk to get a clearer picture. I had already made a reservation and was simply calling to confirm whether the concerns mentioned in the reviews were being addressed. When I called, a front desk agent named Reema answered. I explained my concerns respectfully, hoping she could offer some insight since she works there. Instead, I was told that she is not a guest, does not stay in the rooms, and therefore “cannot vouch for anything.” The way this was communicated came across as dismissive and rude. Recently switched from being a Ramada. I had booked a room that did not carry over with the switch, which was frustrating enough. However, we did not create a new reservation. The front desk area was reeked of cigarette smoke, and the overall curb appeal was dreadful. I was only supposed to stay one night, and I’m thankful I didn’t stay at all.

I called and told the desk I was working til 1am, and was going to be late. Wasn't allowed to check in late "after the audit" when i already paid for the room, was marked a no show. A normal person would allow use of the room with a late check out

Positive: "" Negative: I didn't like anything about this hotel. The cheapest room, old furniture, there are cracks on the ceiling,on the walls, peeling paint. I reserved a businessroom, the room didn't has even cheap coffee machine and plastic cups.The were roaches in the sink
