Having passed 90,000 miles and traveled through 71 countries on my bicycle world tour, I was nearing the end of my North America journey. After Christmas, I arrived at Airport FairBridge Inn Express in Billings, Montana. At that time, I was also dealing with a mechanical issue on my bicycle, so getting proper rest and having the bike repaired in the city were essential. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the restaurant across the hotel was quite nice as well. The best price in the city. The hotel manager and the entire team do an excellent job. They hosted me wonderfully for several days. Meeting such kind-hearted people along the way is what makes my bicycle world tour truly unforgettable. Their hospitality earned Montana a well-deserved place on my list of American hospitality e
I stayed at the FairBridge for one night on a last minute business trip, and the rest of town was sold out. Charlie is an amazing Manager. I mis-read the office hours and arrived after the office was closed. Charlie hurried over to help me get checked-in. She upgraded me and ensured I got situated. Charlie was back at it early in the morning, serving breakfast and wishing everyone well as they got their day started. Location is excellent, convenient to both the Airport and downtown, adjacent to a large medical park. Renovations are in full swing, and the upgrades give the property an excellent, modern feel. Property was clean. I can't wait to see the progress continue on this hotel. Thank you Charlie!
Where to start? Made reservation with deck clerk over the phone, asked for ground floor room as im nearly 80 and we didn't want to haul luggage up stairs. Was assured i would have a ground floor room. Got there to check in and lady told me they had a downstairs room reserved for us. Finished checking in, got key and went to room. It had been used night before and never made up. Went back to clerk, sure enough not made up. They had no rooms left down stairs. So we got an upstairs room. She did offer to help us with luggage but I thanked her and I told her we'd manage. Got to room. OK. Went to lobby to buy a coke. Machine took my money but no soda came out. She said they'd been having problems with it not working at times. Had to drive to a convenience store to get sodas. Got up
Complete NIGHTMARE. The worst I have ever experienced in my life. In finding our room, the place is under severe construction – entire hallways full of demolition and construction supplies all over. Carpet that was molding, walls badly in need in paint. Our room couldn't have been worse. The "jacuzzi tub" that we paid extra for a Suite – was not only broken but had exposed ELECTRIC wires next to the toilet! Major health hazard. The tub had black MOLD all around it, again a complete biohazard to be near. The lighting and "fan" was exposed with a loud buzzing like it was shorting out. Inside the room, the bed looked like someone had ripped something off it. Stains on the walls from built up dirt. The floors, COVERED IN HUMAN HAIR. Long black hair, it was not vacuumed or cleaned. Profane
This the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, looks nothing like the pictures. Asked for an ADA room which I couldn’t fit my wheeled walker in the room or bathroom. It was a joke, as is the staff who evidently decided they were booked full this morning and thought it wasn’t their fault. If you can’t accommodate somebody who has an ADA disability, you need to call them and tell them not let them figure it out when they get in the room because I would’ve immediately canceled this reservation and found a better hotel. Also there was blood on the sheets.
