Affordable Suites Lynchburg

We have stayed at Affordable Suites of America.,in Lynchburg, twice now and if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. The rooms are large, well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Jessica, the location manager, is absolutely fantastic and so very accommodating. We have dealt with her on both occasions that we have stayed at this location and she is incredibly helpful and professional. My wife and I will never stay at another hotel as long as there is an Affordable Suites of America in the area we are traveling to. If anyone is thinking of staying at one of these properties, dont overthink it, just do it, you will absolutely NOT be disappointed and you will have a new favorite home away from home in your travels! Overall, great, affordable stay. I would book here again. I was in town for the weekend for a music festival, and booked the hotel for myself. The room was spacious and clean except for a hair found in the bathtub. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, dish soap, paper towels, and a drying rack. However, the round microwave plate does not rotate, so things were heated unevenly. There was no WiFi, but cell phone service was fine (T-mobile). There were a ton of channels to watch on the tv though. A couple of the window blinds didn’t lay flat when closed, so I had to place items on the windowsill to ensure no one could peak through into the room from the outside. It was clean, decent, and definitely affordable. The couch, queen bed, and pillows were comfortable! The shower was good and hot. There was a good kitchenette with a good size fridge. We were able to get our key from a lock box and check in after hours - all we had to do was ask! We were moving our daughter in at Liberty and most hotels were either booked up or extremely expensive. All of the essentials were good, it's nothing fancy, but it's nice for a 2-star hotel. I would recommend it!

I stayed here in August and had a great spacious 1 bedroom that I booked through Travelocity. I just recently stayed there and I booked directly through their website, several months ago. When I arrived my room was a small studio room. When I called the office I was told there was a problem when you book directly with their website and that I should have called them for the reservation, and since it was a very busy weekend in the area there was nothing they could do, they had no other rooms and I wasn't the only one this happened to. I decided to deal with it. The corporate booking has room types switched if you go through a travel website. If you want a certain type of room call them ahead of time. Jessica is very friendly and will help you as best she can.
