This place is under new management and it is nothing short of a nightmare. If you want the "manager" Melonie to walk in your room any time she feels like then by all means rent a room here. Otherwise I suggest spending your well earned dollars somewhere else. She tells you who can and cant come to visit you and makes that call based on the way a person looks.She's rude. She's hateful. She walks in my mother's room almost on a daily basis and tells her to do her dishes or clean when my mother is wheelchair bound. She has banned all.of her help from the property most of us without a reason. She calls the police on my mother's guests a day caretakers for no reason thus wasting valuable resources that's should be used for real emergencies wasting our tax dollars on petty calls. My stay was very good. It is an older facility. It was clean,perhaps some renovation recently. The bed and furniture shows wear. It was an economical place to stay. I would happily stay again. It was a bit noisy, walls and floors are thin. When I was there the other guests were courteous and didn't make much unnecessary noise. The staff went out of their way to make my stay the best It could be.

Overall everything this place provided was great, incredibly clean compared to anywhere ive ever been. However they let people get away with anything here, the family in the middle let all their kids run around screaming day and night, all you hear is banging from them running up and down the second floor. Even late at night we could hear them running around and screaming inside their hotel room! The adults were constantly coming out screaming at them even though they left them unattended the whole time. And they drive back and fourth blasting music which is one thing but to sit in the parking lot for long periodsof time blasting it with the bass so loud? Very inconsiderate group of people. Ive never seen a business allow this behavior in a shared space. And to top it off my new car has 2

My stay at Affordable Corporate Suites Salem Virginia was outstanding!! Extremely clean, exceptional staff (Melinda and Deborah) , my room was lovely, beautiful decor and very comfortable bed. We are a disaster relief business, I had four rooms rented for a month. All of my guys loved it there said Ms. Mel was the best. The rooms were clean everyone there was very nice and professional. The location was perfect plenty of places to eat and shop. If we are in Virginia working again, close enough to stay at this motel we will stay there again I left something in my room when I was there that was very important to me. I was called and told that it was left there and it was put in a safe until I could safely get it. Thank you, for everything Ms.Mel, they are very lucky to have you.
