AC Hotel San Rafael Downtown

We booked the AC Hotel for our wedding hotel block (wedding at Deer Park Villa), and also hosted our welcome evening on the rooftop (Above Fifth). From the start, our interactions with Aashna (Sales Director) were great - she was very responsive, and worked with us intimately to make sure that we had everything that we needed for our event. She helped us curate a food and bar menu for our welcome evening that was a huge hit, pointed us in the right direction to get the curbs reserved for our shuttles, and even took a few Facetime calls on the roof to walk through the flow of our evening event with us. We had a bit of a tricky situation with how we wanted to book rooms - we had a block reserved, but we were paying for some guest rooms - and Aashna was so flexible in working with us to make

A downtown hotel was needed for a long time in SAN RAFAEL so it was nice when one appeared! However I have been here 3 times now and although it is nice they charge extra for a "Mountain View" room. I do not mind them charging more for such a room but on all 3 visits I was not put in a Mountain View room, I was put in a room on the opposite side which has a view of a hill! How can they get this wrong so repeatedly unless they are doing it deliberately?

I had the pleasure of staying at this AC hotel location which was absolutely amazing, and I’d like to give special recognition to the Dining server Jenny. She provided exceptional white glove service and acted with such grace as she assisted in anyway she could. Customer service members like Jenny keeps businesses thriving so thanks again for all of your kindness.

Really nice location. Close to the freeway, downtown and all it has to offer. Excellent customer service from the front desk, bar, breakfast service, to room service, everyone is friendly and professional. The breakfast is nice and I've never experienced it to be too crowded, unkept, or not fresh. Always satisfaction. I've been here several times and will continue to utilize AC Hotel when I'm staying in the area.
