This hotel is very, very nice. The staff are attentive and friendly and our room was excellent. The hotel is very clean and our room was extremely comfortable. We had drinks in the lounge, and the service was great. The price is reasonable, given the high quality of accommodations. I will stay here whenever we are in town.

Pretty average hotel. The staff was friendly however the lobby very much smelled like natural gas. At times it was so bad it made me fear for my safety. The hotel staff said that it was coming from the fireplace pilot light which they shut off and the gas smell would eventually dissipate. It did not over the three days we were there. The “breakfast” consisted of granola bars, oranges, and frozen breakfast sandwiches. Again, staff was great.

Comfortable hotel, close to the New York State Capitol. Stayed up here for the bar swearing in ceremony, and it was really convenient. I rented a car at the airport and drove in, when I should have just taken a taxi, but they offer valet parking with unlimited re-entry for just $16/day. The concierges were very friendly and professional, and my room was clean and quiet. Overall a great deal.

Although we were here for about 9 total hours as a stop off between NYC to Cooperstown, I enjoyed my stay here. We were fortunate to park in front on the street and knew we'd be leaving before the meter started, so good news there. The front desk person was friendly and knew who we were as we were the last reservation of the day. The room was bigger than I expected and had an old-school stately feel. I thought it might even be haunted (but upon a little Google investigation, I don't think it is). The bathroom was enormous and the bed was nice and comfortable. Free Wi-Fi and free complimentary breakfast which is such a plus whenever we're traveling. Wonderful hotel. Staff is fantastic and very attentive. Lots of nice perks (bottled water, cookies, breakfast). I was in one of the rooms that has already been renovated and it was clean and very comfortable.
