315 @ LoSo

My stay at the 315 LoSo Hotel in Charlotte was an absolute nightmare.||The room reeked of mildew and mustiness, making it uncomfortable from the start. Maintenance||was severely lacking: faucets barely worked, door latches didnt secure properly, and the shower||drain was constantly clogged. The elevator had a blinking alarm light on the entire time, and the fire||panel at the front desk was frequently going off. The staff were clearly unqualified to handle it, which||was unsettling and indicated a lack of proper maintenance.||||Security was non-existent, with side doors propped open and no personnel to be seen, despite the||sketchy surroundings with visible drug dealing and prostitution. Loud music blasted from rooms on||the first floor, making it feel more like a nightclub than a hotel.||

The hotel is good with budget and location is close to the airport and train to the city.

Stayed here for a week on a business trip. Nice rooms. Very comfortable. Close to freeways. No breakfast served or laundry, but there is a laundromat half mile away and there's restaurants within a 5-minute walking distance. Also close to a mall with a TJ Maxx and CVS, which is helpful. Cynthia and Kennedy at the front desk were extremely helpful when I checked in and very friendly throughout my stay :) Thank you!!

I booked this hotel specifically because it was out of the city, hoping to avoid the loud sound of fireworks because of my dog. When checking in I was greeted by Andrea and Miguel who immediately made me feel so welcomed. They asked about plans for the night (it was new years eve) and seemed genuinely interested. When I let them know I had a dog they asked how he was with fireworks and when I told them not good, they immediately moved us to a corner room hoping the less foot traffic would be better for him and it absolutely was! When we got back to the hotel around 2am someone had thrown up in the elevator. The employee (whose name I didn't get) was kind enough to let everyone else use the service elevator so we didn't have to take stairs. Our room key stopped working, they let us know t

The rooms are much larger and comfortable than at other hotels of the same price, and most of the premises look recently renovated. This is not a hotel chain but a local business, which offers great value and friendly staff. Pet friendly too! I spent a very restful night with my family in the middle of a long road trip.
