1860s Waterfall Retreat

Super cool place to stay. My parents rented this place and I just stayed 1 night coming in to watch a show in the area. I really loved it. The small touches, decor, history and charm this place provided was great. The bed was comfortable. I’ve stayed at a ton of Airbnbs and own one also so I have a great appreciation for all that the hosts put into making this place special.

Three friends and I stayed in this beautiful home on Labor Day Weekend for the purpose of Christmas shopping at the Outlets and other various stores. Very charming and conveniently located near these stores, we had a great time. Upon returning home and unpacking, I discovered a sentimental ring was missing from the pants pocket I thought it was in. With all of the shopping, washing hands and trying on clothes, I thought I had lost it forever. Imagine my surprise when we were contacted by our hosts, Luci & Suzi who found a ring and wanted to know if it was one of ours. They mailed it back to me without even asking to be reimbursed. Friends and I stayed here a few years ago. I now live in Lancaster County, and I can say in some part it's been thanks to this place! Beautiful home and property, lots of space for a few guests, and a great backyard for enjoying the evening with views of the waterfall! Such a memorable experience. Hope the owner is still doing well, I drive past the place a lot and it seems to look just as nice as it ever was. Saw I hadn't given a review here and wanted to change that.

If you are into early American this place is perfect! It's spacious clean and well kept, with a huge back yard with an entertainment area. As an added plus you can relax to the sound and view of a wonderful little waterfall. Suzi is an amazing host ready and willing to see to your every need . I would give this place 5 stars

Staying at this property currently and absolutely love the history of this location and property. The rumbling of the small water fall is quite soothing. Home is very clean, excellent host, and we will be back. Thank you for allowing us to step back in time. Anthony
