Young's Getaway Beachfront Resort

This place is fabulous! I have been coming here for the past several years. The cabins and private beach area are very clean. The owner is so friendly and helpful. I have had friends come with me. Now they’re returning with their families.

My wife and two kids stayed here for a week in August, along with my father-in-law and sister-in-law in an adjoining cabin. I was a bit apprehensive at first when I saw how small the cabins are, but I LOVED my week at Young's.||Suzanne is an amazing host, and her property is extraordinarily clean and well-kept. The beach is beautiful and is absolutely the highlight of the property. The cabins have a full kitchen, a double bed, a futon, a bathroom with a shower, and a TV (which we never used). Outdoors, each cabin gets a picnic table and a charcoal grill. ||Young's is a 5 minute drive to downtown East Tawas, and another 5 minutes to the State Park. There's plenty to do around town, and this is the perfect place to set up for a vacation.||We will be back again!

the owner of this resort watches your every move. she only cares about how her resort looks to everyone else not only that but she screams at people in the middle of the night. not super friendly and i don’t think i will return. if you are planning on staying up later having a good time or wanting to play music then don’t go here!

Our family has stayed at Young's for years, and we look forward to going every single year. We absolutely LOVE it here! The cabins and resort grounds are spotless, and the owners are tremendously kind and accommodating. The beach is gorgeous, just steps away from the cabins. You can tell from the moment you arrive that the owners are truly happy to have you stay, and that their main goal is that they provide you with the best stay possible. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Starting coming here on our first wedding anniversary—7 years ago. We have been back every summer since and LOVE staying at Young’s Getaway! The quiet, family-friendly atmosphere is so relaxing and enjoyable. The cabins are always clean and well-maintained with fun little updates to the decor. The owners are personable and attentive. We love staying at Young’s—and now our kids do too!! 😊
