Smith's Pine Haven Beach Resort

Very poorly maintained. Owner didn't respond to request for internet access. Finally after 6 tries she gave me the information. No dish rages, not coffee filters.,very few dishes. I cannot recommend. We had to leave before our scheduled departure. Found something much better.

Reminded me of my childhood! Super cute cabins. Super clean. The owner was friendly and accommodating. Beautiful beach - right in the bay - we had the beachfront cabin. Had Ana amazing time. Incredible price! Don’t go to a hotel - stay here! We made a bonfire with wood provided. Watched the moon rise over the bay - just amazing!

We booked a last minute trip for Memorial Day, and were surprised to find something available for same day! We booked online and when we arrived, there had been a glitch and our cabin had been given away. The owner was very friendly, and got another room ready for us within an hour or two, and did not charge us for the night due to the snafu. The cabin we had was a cute one bedroom with a futon in the living room. The beach is amazing! Also love that we were able to bring our dogs with no issues, not everywhere is pet friendly. All in all, it was a 5 star experience for us. 🙂

Loved the entire experience. We had everything we needed in our rooms, beautiful beach, cabins were very good size, nice fire pit, grills. We will definitely come back and recommend it to our friends and family.

I called on a Sunday, very last minute, to check for availability for the following week. The owner Michelle was very pleasant and thorough. She helped me pick out what turned out to be a great cabin for our short trip. We were so close to the lake. The property is right on Lake Huron. The sun deck and beach were so clean and full of chairs. There was a fire pit on the beach with wood. There are tables and chairs or picnic tables in front of the beach cabins, along with kettle grills. The rustic cabins were clean, stocked with all the essentials. The owners were super friendly and helpful. We met nice neighbors, who were also visiting. It was a great and relaxing 3 days! Thanks Michelle and Chris!
