Tawas Bay Resort

Awesome place to stay! Owners are very nice and friendly. It's located just far enough off of the main highway to be quiet but close enough to get to the town quickly. The beach is nice and they have bikes that you can ride down to the pier. I would recommend for a weekend get away.

Right on the lake, with a beautiful beach a few yards away. But the rooms were a bit run down. Smelled like they USED to allow smoking (for a few decades) and there were flying insects that kept making their way inside. Shower and bathroom are small & cramped, too. Only here for 2 nights so it wasn't terrible.

Stayed one night. Bay front room was clean but not fancy. Pool was great. Hotel staff was very friendly and pleasant. Service at Bikinis bar was VERY slow. Restaurant was slow as well but the food was good.

The pool is pretty nice they have OK rooms nothing in them besides beds in the TV there is really any chairs or couches to sit on that the rooms we were in did not have any The owner is rude but the staff is very friendly

Didn't have our room ready at check in. Made us walk around and wait 3 hrs. Then wouldn't give a late check out of just 1 hr. Been going to this hotel for 8 years and now we won't anymore. Hope the extra he was worth it
