YMCA of the Rockies - Estes Park Family Resort and Cabins

Leaves much to be desired. The reason I gave it two stars and instead of one is because the staff member that helped us with the buffet was so incredibly nice. However, have you ever eaten at a place where you immediately start placing bets on whether or not you’re gonna get sick for eating there? This will be your kind of place if you’re into that sort of gambling. The food looked like a had been cut for probably a week. Moldy broccoli, brown lettuce, slimy cucumbers. As a gluten-free person having I think one option that was gluten-free was unfortunate. I ended up eating a salad. Definitely think prison cafeteria food. The rooms are clean and what you would expect. I actually appreciate that they don’t have TVs in the rooms. However, the level of effort put into the property is definit

We love the YMCA of the Rockies! We love to spend at least 4 nights in a 2 bedroom cabin. The cabins, amenities, and activities are the best of the best. This year our boys and us spent lots of time hitting the trails around the Y and RMNP! Also the craft center is our go to place for a relaxing and creative experience!! Thank you YMCA for being our families home away from home. ⛰️

Arrived at the hotel late & it was raining. The property was excellent. We were assigned to our room that can accommodate 6 people. It was just an over night stay but still we enjoyed it. We were able to see a wapiti and it was the biggest i have see so far. Thank you YMCA for the great experience.

Needed more than our 2 days before nearby wedding. Horseback riding at Jackson Stables was highlight for me. Followed by great massage in wellness Center. Regret that I didn’t have time for roller skating and swimming, although the pool staff told me that water is heated to an incredible (and horrifying) 85f. ||Room in Longs Peak Lodge was Spartan but sufficient; had a refrigerator. Upon arrival room was an unbearable 64f, had to raise AC. |Counter around sink is TOO SMALL for 2 persons’ toiletries. No TV, missed. Overall, dated. ||Dining facilities on site early October and until summer VERY limited. Dining room meals are all buffet all you can stuff yourself. We come every year with our kids. Absolutely love the Y. We usually rent one of the cabins and have also rented rooms. Both were perfectly adequate. My kids love roller skating and the pool, sledding in the winter. We're always busy with activities and never bored.
