Yawkey Family Inn

Yawkey Family Inn/Family-Patient Housing via Boston Children's Hospital is a true lifesaver staffed by incredibly kind, generous, and understanding people! We had to stay for a week, and right after I confirmed our reservation (two days before we went) I got a notice from the hospital that they needed us there the day before we were meant to go. I called Yawkey and asked if there was any way they had space to add a night for us and we were allowed to add a night last minute and stayed for one night in the transplant suite before swapping to our originally planned room. They were also very understanding with us not knowing if our final day was actually our final day or if we'd have to extend our stay. I highly recommend checking if you can stay here if you qualify to.

My goodness, where to start! The staff are excellent and the house is in a great neighborhood and close to the hospital. We were in Boston for our daughter’s surgery and they allowed us to stay here and the accommodations were excellent. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained.

Stayed here during my toddlers heart surgery. This place was beyond beautiful & welcoming. It honestly made the whole trip peaceful & worth it. Transportation on demand and The rooms were comfortable and efficient. The common areas were stunning & homey & filled with happy friendly welcoming people. Everything was clean & organized & the added laundry was amazing. It would be a dream to live here. The building had so much charm & class. Absolutely stunning fireplace & study area. For bonus points I'm a night owl I work over nights & sleep durning the days. My toddlers(3yroldTwins) are usually up pretty late. The common area play room is open to guest 24 hours (just quieter after 8pm) that was beautiful.

A truly sobering place for patients and their family. It's a place of relief and pondering for recovering patients and their relatives going through life changing times. I truly appreciate the staff and donors for the support they provide to a noble cause

I can not say enough nice things about this place. The place is clean and inviting, the staff is friendly, kind and helpful. Above all, if you have a child at Boston Children's Hospital and you need a place to stay,.try and get into here. You must fill out an application at Patient Family Housing.
